I miss my Krispy Kreme ... the green one in the middle is Green Tea flavored ... something u would only find in asian countries I guess.

Nope, there isn't a Krispy Kreme here :( Currently there is this stupid craze in Singapore for doughnuts. There is a doughnut place over where I work where ppl would queue for 3hrs, YES, THREE HOURS just for doughnuts. U should see the damn line. I've tried it once and I have to say it did not compare to Krispy Kreme at all. Their doughnuts was pretty dense, not light and fluffy. No, I did not queue for them, a friend gave me one.

I miss my grape jelly filled doughnut from the QD and the free warm doughnut while waiting in line at Krispy Kreme .....

Was supposed to meet up with my ex boss, Mike, and friend, Rowena but Mike got the dates mixed up and so he could not meet. We were actually supposed to meet last wed on my off day but I cancelled as I was trying to be a good employee and help out but u guys know how it went. The next available date for us to meet is next wed as Rowena is going to HK over the weekend. I was telling Rowena how it feels like we might never get to meet.

Anyway, cos there wasn't a need to wake up, I got up, went to pee and then headed back to bed. Was woken every now and then with msgs on my phone ... replied, and went back to bed continuously. You guys would not believe what time I finally dragged my ass out of bed. Please bear in mind that I have been working for 12 days straight ....

I woke up at 5pm!

Haha, I know, such a pig. I forgot what time I went to bed but I think I got about 12-14hrs of sleep :)

I met up with my friend Ryd from my SI days on Mon nite. It was also a rescheduled appointment. Was supposed to meet last tues but he thought it was Wed instead. Sigh .. what is it with ppl mistaking appointments with me? Am I that forgettable? Well, met him at Suntec and we went for dinner and after which coffee at Starbucks. It was nice catching up and learning what some of the ppl we knew were up to. But I have to say that at times it felt like I did not know what to say. I have to say that I am not the world best conversationlist .... think I am pretty boring at times ... which could prob explain why I am single and alone ...

Anyway, pretty excited about going to see the musical The King and I on Sat with Huiyi and KL. After which, we will be meeting the usual gang for dinner at Sushi Tei over at Vivocity.

Guess I'm not really alone with friends like them .... really something I should be thankful for ...

Gave up an off day for NOTHING!

Well, I was supposed to be off today but I got guilted into coming back to help the midnight sales. However, because not all the merchants decide to participate in it, the mall did not advertised it, which means no one knew abt it, therefore the crowd was non existent.

So now, I will be working 12 days b4 my next off day ... GROAN!

And to top off a dissapointing night, my friend received her confirmation ... the catch, she did not get a single cent increment .... none, zip, nada! Our boss told her that she is not doing a good job and there are things that she should work on. WTF?! If she is doing such a bad job, why confirm her in the first place. The only reason, we feel, she confirmed her is so that she would have to work out her 1 mth notice if she decides to leave.

Oh, forgot to mention the Employee Satisfaction Survey we had to do today. It was a joke .... "The company cares abt me .... Strongly Disagree", "I am able to share my thoughts and ideas with my superiors ... Strongly Disagree", "Company provides fun activities ... Strongly Disagree"

I am not satisfied with the company ... STRONGLY AGREE!!!

COACH Raffles City Sale!

To celebrate National Day, our mall will be opened till midnight on the 8th. In conjunction with it, we are having a special ONE nite sale on selected items ... well, mainly old designs. Discount range have not be set, but don't worry gals, the items that I helped u get will definately not go any lower ....

Happy Birthday August!

Checked my phone when I got off from work to find messages from KL and Huiyi. Huiyi thought I already knew plans for tonite but I guess KL forgot to inform me. It turns out that Christine wanted to surprise August aka TY for his 30th bday. They were going to have out separate dinners and then "bump" into each other later.

So we went to Makansutra at the Esplanade first. OMG, there were so many ppl .. talk about claustrophobic! We finally found a place to sit and as I guarded our table, they went to order oyster omelette, char kway teow, carrot cake, chicken wings and for dessert, chendol, ice kachang and don't know what KL had for dessert.

We then headed into the Esplanade waiting for Christine and TY to walk over from Marina Square. TY was really shocked to see us and he actually believed that it was a coincidence until we brought out the cake that we bought for him. It was then that he realized that Christine had this all planned out and we were in cahoots with her :)

We then headed back to the Starbucks at Marina Square.
