My Schedule for August ...

FREE FROM THE 23rd ONWARDS!

小笼包 ... Round 2

After cancelling on me on Mon because of family obligations, I finally met up with LC on thur for 小笼包!! She has always brought me to Ding Tai Fung so this time around I brought her to Crystal Jade where I think it is better. For one thing, they are bigger! :)

We also ordered the Fried Pork with Garlic. Better than the Crispy Pork Rib that I had with my sis, but then I LOVE garlic! No one to kiss, so who cares about garlic breath!

On the left is Fried Eel, not too bad, the sauce that it was coated with was a little to sweet though. On the right is some Scallop Egg thingy, forgot what's the name. The taste wasn't too overpowering so it actually went well with the eel.

This time around I only had 10 小笼包, unlike the other time with my sis when I had 13. I guess cos I also ate alot of the other stuff, there wasn't my sis to eat more of it. Will definately be making my way back there for ROUND 3! Who wants to go? :)

After lunch, we went shopping a little, looks like I am going to be updating my wish list pretty soon .. haha. LC had to leave early as she had tuition. I continued walking ard town b4 heading back home. Went to a second hand bkshop across my hse in search of a book which I have the starting and ending but I was SOL (Shit Outta Luck) again. Damn!!

Msged my sis and surprisingly she was just one level down in the mall. So I met up with her and we went for dessert with her friend Gwen. We went to the Hong Kong Cafe by the mall.

Mango Ice with a scoop of ice cream on the top. It was alot for the 2 of us as Gwen didn't want any. After finishing it, we were shivering! Good times .....

Met up with KL earlier on Mon for dinner and because it was still early, we made our way to Max Brenner for some chocolate sustanance :)

This was my first time there. Their menu was filled with everything chocolate .. they even had some alcoholic chocolate drinks.

I love their glasses and their metal straws. I forgot the name of my drink but it was really good, a bit too sweet for my taste though.

We then hurried our way to the Esplanade concert hall, and even though we made it on the dot, the doors were already closed. There were another 3 couples in front of us who were arguing with the ushers saying that they were on time and that the doors were closed too early. One guy even asked them to refund him his money if he was going to miss part of the concert.

The thing was that we were on the dot, that means the ppl in front of us were early. We just stood there as the older couples in front argued with the ushers. Finally, after a very serious talk on their headphones, the doors were opened and we were let in.

The show started without Gabriel, so basically we would not have really missed out if they insist on not letting us in. The show was really great, enjoyed it tremendously! Gabriel was so cute and talented. Our seats were just 4 rows from the stage and directly in front of him at all times. That's why I love buying tics as soon as they are released and not drag out.

After the show, there was an autograph session. I decided to stay and get my program signed. KL was tired and had a long journey home so he left first.

Adorable Gabriel ....

Was supposed to go to lunch with LC today but her mom has food poisoning so she she has to stay home to take care of her. We have rescheduled our 小笼包 date to Thurs.

Will be going to a concert later tonite with KL. Don't get too excited, it's a classical concert. It's by this child violinist protege, Gabriel Ng. He is 12 years old and has already received many accolades for his playing. Best of all, he is a Singaporean! There was a documnetary on him a couple of mths back and when I heard that he was coming back to S'pore to play, I immediately asked KL if he wanted to go .... he is the only person I know who would be interested in such artsy things ... am I right?

It's going to be a 1 1/2 hr show and it will be the first time I'm going to the esplanade theater. Damn, and I have to be back early cos I have a bloody meeting the next morning at 8.30am!! Its going to be a 13hr day for me .... GROAN, what is she going to bitch about again this time? What a mood spoiler!

More COACH Goodies ....

We have product training every 6 mths at Coach and we are given gifts everytime. This was my first time going thru it and this was what we all got. Previously they had different things for the guys and gals but this time they gave everyone they same thing. The previous gift was the mini skinny that I got too 'cos there were extras :)

10 Years Ago ....

Stole this pic from Shanice's blog (yes, I did tell her I was stealing it). The pic on the left was taken 10 years ago during my Pre-U prom, the one was the right was taken 7/7/07.

OMG I was so bloody fat, look at how round my face was! Shanice asked me what I did to my eyes, why are they so big now. Well, I honestly did not do anything to them, no surgery or anything. It's just make up and for some weird reason, my left eye has developed a double eyelid, so now my left eye is bigger than the other. I try to even it out with makeup, more eyeliner on the right....

I think the both of us look really great now, don't u guys agree? However, I need to lose another few kgs ... I want my chin to be as sharp as Shanice! Have been slacking on my diet ... must get back on track!

My friend checked, the money was there (thank god), tranfered the money back, I checked ...

YES, REALLY FUCKING CHECK, unlike my mom who only said she did.

Think I will hang on to the money for awhile.

$ Gone, $ Found ... I hope.

My mom woke me up from my peaceful slumber today and told me that she has not received the money that I transfered to her every mth. First of all, I hate it when ppl wake me up on a day that I can sleep in, it's my day off, can u fucking let me sleep in?!?!

Confused with her not receiving the $, I woke up ... pissed, mind u, washed up and went downstairs. It was then that my mom told me that she checked her bank account and she has not been receiving ANY of the money that I have transfered.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

I got really pissed and mad ... I told my mom to check her account the FIRST time i transfered her $ and she said she did and received the money, now she is telling me that she hasn't? What account have I been trasfering the $ into then?

I went to check and it was a number that my mom did not recognize and neither did I. FUCK! Who the hell has been spending my $? He/she must be one happy bugger receiving $ into his/her account every mth for FOUR mths. All the money would be gone ... it's doomed, no way I am getting back the $.

TOTAL - $3140!!!!!

Called the bank, they said that I would have to write in and tell them about the situation and then contact the bank to find out who the person on the other end is. And then see if the other party would return the money ... in my mind, I am thinking that the other person would already have spend all the money.

At this point I was already in tears and screaming at my mom. It's my hard earned $ that is gone. I do not know where I got the a/c from but even if it was wrong, if my mom would have REALLY checked it the first time, there would not be a problem. But here she is checking FOUR mths later, after I have transfered $3140!!!

How can someone not notice that $3140 is not in their account? Esp for my mom who is so detailed when it comes to $? Obviously this amt means nothing to her, the amt that I sent to her is so measely that she does not even notice whether it is in her a/c or not? Do u know what I could do with this $?

Then here my mom kept asking me questions, telling me what to do and I just did not want to talk to her or even look at her. It was my hard earned $ and it felt horrible thinking that the money is gone and never coming back. My mom said she understood and felt bad seeing me crying but I don't think she truely understood. I asked her to just leave me alone, get out of my room. I did not know what to do, it was going to be a long process trying to figure it out.

After kicking my mom out of my room, my mom talked to my dad and then came back to my room, she said that my dad said if I knew whose that a/c is, that the account could be one of my friends. After chasing my mom out of my room, still could not stand to look or even talk to her, I checked my phone which had a few of my friends' a/c stored ... and who would believe it? There was one that matched. I immediately called the person, no answer, sms her, told her to call me back asap, msg her online and told her the same thing.

After waiting a few mins, she finally called me back, told her that I might have accidentally transfered $ into her account for the past 4mths. She said that that a/c of hers is idle, that she never checks it. I asked her to check it and then pls transfer the money back. Unfortunately she is only able to do it when she goes home tonite, so it is basically a waiting game now.

I'm crossing my fingers .... the money should be there and thank god it was my friend. Can u imagine what would have happened if it was a total stranger a/c and the person refused to give me back the $ or worst, have already spent it? Still totally pissed at my mom, yes, I had some fault in it but entering the wrong a/c number, but then that is what me asking my mom to check her a/c is for! She said she did, she got the money, so there wasn't a problem.....

That's it, it is cash transactions between me and my mom now.

ARGH!!!!

I really think u have 老人痴呆疹. I don't get how u can say one thing and then come back a few days/weeks later and COMPLETELY forget what u said. Morover, u will NEVER admit u are in the wrong and instead put the blame on everyone else. The closest u have come to admiting u are wrong is saying "So what? So what if I did it?" And then twist the whole situation and make it our fault again? That is not the way to do things!

Now everytime I talk to u, I have to make sure to write things down. I am tempted to bring a recorder so that I would have proof of what u said. I like how u always manage to find thing to pick about everything and everyone. We never know when u will be in a good mood or bad mood .. well, MAJORITY of the time u are in a BAD mood and u will vent your anger on us. We have feelings, pls do not use us as your punching bag. We try to do things your way BUT your way changes as and when u feel like it. We can't read your mind!!!!

My New Sunglasses!

I have been eyeing this pair of sunglasses for awhile. So, in order to help the store increase sales and also to let staff purchase items b4 the 2% increase in GST, Susan (my boss) approved all staff purchases including newness. Well, my sunglasses isn't part of the new collection but it would have increased in price, so I bought it :) Everyone was buying left and right, I did not want to feel left out ... furthermore, how can the COACH fanatic not buy anything?!?!

2(Mon), 6(Fri), 10(Tues), 14(Sat) Booked!, 19(Thur), 23(Mon) Booked!, 26 (Thur) Booked!, 28(Sat) Booked!

All others are Afternoon shifts that start from 12.30pm - 9.30pm on weekdays and 1pm - 10pm on Fri and Sat. Morning shifts end at 6.30pm.
