Dear "You Know Who You All Are"
Do u really think that we do no know that u are carrying a FAKE? U can try to hide it under your arm or throw a sweater over it but it still screams out FAKE!! U can use that excuse that u don't know it is a knockoff but, I'm sorry, if the deal is too good to be true, it is prob a FAKE! And YES, we know that that GUCCI/FENDI/LV etc. are fakes too.

Don't u think that we know that it is cheaper in the US? DUH!?!? It's from the US, of cos it is going to be cheaper there. If u have friends going there and are willing to buy for u, there is nothing I can do to stop u. Go ahead, I would do it too. However, don't come running back to us when u want to change the color, or if your friend failed to check the item there was a defect, or u need repairs done, we will charge u.

We try to be as nice as possible, but if u are going to be SO honest as to tell us u are just here to check out the items and then get your friends to buy it for u from the US, can u blame us for moving on to other fishes? We have targets to hit, u have basically told us u are NOT going to buy from us, of cos we are going to work our persuasion on some other ppl that MIGHT buy.

Stop stating the obvious or asking us redundant questions ...
1) Yes, white is hard to maintain.
2) Yes, we have staff discount.
3) No, I am not going to help u buy stuff ... I DON'T KNOW U!!!
4) Yes, u got a really good deal on the item, but I can tell u got it from the factory outlet.
5) Yes, that looks great on u!
6) Yes, leather scratches. Don't want it to show? Choose another color or plastic.
7) No ... it's heavy? It's as light as a feather! DUH! Of cos I know it is heavy!

There are prob more but that's all I can come up with at the moment.

My dad left yesterday for a business trip to Germany once again. It was a last min thing, they told him on Mon and on Tues he had to leave. This time around it is supposed to be a short trip, 2 weeks. However, they have always extended his trips b4.

This means that my mom will have free use of the car again ... more trips to the slot machines. And for me? Sigh, doing laundry every other day. Damn, there goes my sleeping in .....

More COACH Goodies ...

YEAH! It's time for us to get our new scarves and this season's is SO pretty!!

---

Here it is :)

---
Weird that it isn't on sale on the website. I wonder why? It's supposed to be retailing for US$58.

Now that we have a new scarf, that means the old one is ours to keep. I was told u only have to return a scarf if u quit while the scarf is still in use.

All dressed up ...

Was invited to KL's bro's wedding on Thur and I was pretty excited abt it ... not because I knew the groom but rather b'cos I got to dress up. I bought a dress last year and had not had the opportunity to wear it. When I finally took it out to try, it was too big! Damn! Me, being the little seamtress, took out a needle and thread and proceeded to do a little adjustment .... look how well it turned out. Yes, the dress is from Forever 21.

--- The dress is knee length. I had to fold the area on the shoulder, if i didn't, the V would have ended abt 4cm (1 3/4 inches) lower .... talk about cleavage then!

---
Close up ... curled my hair ... have I mentioned how much I love my T&Co jewelry? :)

The wedding dinner was pretty grand .. well, kinda expected when it is at such a fancy hotel. It was at the Swissotel. The food wasn't that fantastic, but I guess u can't have both. Overall I had a great time, shared a few beers with the guys, Max and August (aka TY). By the time I got home it was close to 1am.

Wonder when I would get to play dress up again? :)

KL's friend is visiting from Aust and we have been meeting up and showing him around. Yesterday we brought him to Lau Pat Sat where he had satay and some local food. He also had his first taste of Tiger beer :)

I was supposed to meet them earlier today to go to Sentosa but I was so tired and decided that sleeping in was a much better choice. Well, I was kinda excited abt going to Sentosa and getting a tan but I have to say that after great thought, I decided that I also did not want his really cute friend to be seeing me in my bikini. I guess it is different when I went with Yvonne .... she knew me when I was fatter ... its hard to explain. I think I am going to have to lose alot more weight b4 I will be completely comfortable around ppl that I have just met. Sigh .. if this was in the US I would not give a fuck.

Anyways, back to my day ... so I finally dragged my ass out of the hse and made my way down to Orchard Rd. I had to pick up my phone that I had sent for servicing. While waiting to collect my phone, I noticed that alot of ppl were either sending in or collecting this particular model. I think Nokia screwed up while making this phone, some bad parts. However I still love my phone as it takes GREAT pics!

I then met KL and Max at Outram Park MRT. We made our way down to Chinatown where we had porridge with frog legs (tastes like chicken!), pig's liver and tofu. It was yummy. We continued walking and passed by this Reflexlogy place and Max wanted a foot massage ... haha, those ppl on my MSN knows that I have been yearning for one too! So we all went for it. OMG, it felt so good! Max and I ended up doing a back massages too. No more Yuchien to do massages for me :( have to find other alternatives.

We then headed down to Clarke Quay, showed Max a little of the nite life. We decided to call it an early nite as KL as to be up early in preparation for his brother's wedding tomorrow which Max would be tagging along too. I will get to sleep in and will only have to get up to dress up for the dinner in the evening. Will get to see Max one last time b4 he leaves on Fri ... sigh, why can't KL introduce to me local caucasians?!?!

小笼包!

Ok, u guys know that I have been craving for 小笼包 (Small Basket Dumpling) for awhile now. I did have some a few weeks back, one with LC and another time with Evon, Huiyi and KL, both at Din Tai Fung. However, I still think that the ones at Crystal Jade are better, so I decided to go with my sis today.

---

A write up on their 小笼包. Blah blah blah ... just give me the food!

---

Braised Beancurd Skin. It was ok .. there were mushrooms inside.

---

On the left is Chicken with Cashews and Chilli, on the right is Crispy Pork Rib. Both were yummy.

---

The star of the meal ..... 小笼包! These are bigger than the ones at Ding Tai Fung, more bite to them ... but I have to admit that these seemed to have alot more MSG in them ... we were thirsty like mad after the meal. Haha, it could be also that we ate alot more here than at Din Tai Fung.

---

I'm a happy camper!

---

Close up of a 小笼包! There's an average of 18 folds per dumpling .. haha, yes, we counted them ... I was admiring them while waiting for them to cool slightly.

---

First u have to bite the skin, suck out the soup, dip it in vinegar and ginger and then eat it.

---

Here's the inside ....

I ate a total of THIRTEEN 小笼包! We ordered 6 baskets (plus all the other food) and my sis let me have the last one from hers cos she knew I love them :)

I was so full after that ... GROAN ... diet time again.

So pissed off at someone .... she was correcting the way I was pronoucing a word. When I say the color red, I guess I pronouce it more like "rAd" instead of "rAdE". To me it is one of those, I say "poTAEto", u say "poTAto", I say "toMAEto", u say "toMAto" kinda thing.

And what really annoyed the crap out of me was that just a few days ago, she also pronouced a word "wrongly" ... the word is "calendar". In Singapore, ppl pronouced it as "KERlender", however, in the US, it is pronouced "KAlender" (rhymes with "care") I learnt it the hard way after I got laughed at by my american friends. When u say "KERlender" they think u mean "colander" .... it is "a metal or plastic container with a perforated bottom, for draining and straining foods". I just think it is funny that she pronouces it that way and yet she is correcting the way I pronouce red ... I so wanted to tell her u why don't u try saying "KAlender" first ....

Other words that I was laughed at .... "broccoli" I used to say "BRERccoli", but after being laughed at, now say "BROCcAli" And the ever famous ... "three", it is "THree" not "TRee" Still have trouble with my THs, very self conscious when saying "thirty". That's why I HATE the number 3, cos I can't pronouce it ....

Now if only I can say "forks" .... FUCK! :)

Letter to BOB

Dear BOB,

I'm sorry for neglecting u these past few mths. I thought I didn't need u but now I know I was wrong. I thought he would be better but all he had to offer me was a helping hand. You have always been there when I needed u, ready at a moment's notice. We have been through long, hard times ... u have never dissapointed me.

I will not ignore u for so long again, I will spend more time with u ... please forgive me .....

Love,
Serena

Tiffany & Co.

Splurged a little on myself again today.

I first saw it on a forum. Everyone was getting it and I thought it was really cute, so since I was in the area, I decided to pop in to see it in person .....

It is selling in the US for US$50 and I wondered how much it was here ... I asked the sale associate, oops, no ... they are called Sales Professionals, abt it and at first she wasn't sure abt it, but then she finally understood what I wanted ... I called it a scarf, she called it a bandana? Well, at COACH we call them ponytail scarves.

She took one out and I just fell in love! The Tiffany blue is so pretty ... and it has the pic of my bracelet and necklace. I then asked her how much it was ... she said S$95! I was expecting it to be about S$100 or more, so the fact that it was only 2 digits made me smile even more. I contemplated, asked my sis ... she said it was cute. Thought about it more and then caved in .....

---

Here's a pic of it! Isn't it pretty, it can be used as a hairband, a ponytail scarf, tied around my neck, or tied as a bow on one of COACH bags .....well, I don't care if u guys hate it and think it is a waste of $, I LOVE IT!!

And like I have always said ...

"I am high maintenance

BUT

I maintain myself!"

More COACH Goodies!

During work, I walked into the storeroom and Isabelle told me that Susan wanted to see me. CRAP! That was the first word that came to my mind .... What did I do now?

I walked into her office ... Yes, Susan? You wanted to see me? She then gave me a nicely wrapped COACH gift and said it was for me! I immediately knew what it was. I spied it b4 in her office ... it was the gift for the previous training session. I thanked her and had a huge smile coming out of her office, as opposed to bringing my guard up as I was walking into it.

--- This is what I got. It's the 65th Anniversary Mini Skinny. Everyone at work is using it as they got it last Dec. This is one of the items that I do not have as part of my COACH collection. It's the only Mini Skinny that has it's own hangtag ... so cute!

---

Here's the inside .... it has the anniversary stripe lining. Isn't it pretty? :)
