Met up with Huiyi and KL for coffee and PS. KL had his D&D at nite so we couldn't do more. We chit chat a bit while enjoying our coffees. Huiyi and I had to leave at 4.40pm as we were meeting Christine at Suntec to plan out Xmas party.
We headed down and Christine was still not done with her seminar. We waiting for about 10-15 mins and then we headed to Carrefour to get some inspiration for our dinner and to see what is sold and not sold in the supermarkets here. Moreover, our dinner reservation was for 7pm so we had some time to burn.
Surpirsingly, the place had quite alot of things we were looking for. Had pretty big fozen turkey, fresh herbs, ham, etc. Not bad. We walked ard while taking mental notes and brainstorming.
We then headed to Marina where we had reservations at Wraku Pasta. It is this Jap restaurant that serves pasta. Have heard some good things so was kinda excited to try it.

Loved that they have a mini pepper and salt grinder at every table .. cute!

This is a tiny salad that came with one of the dishes ... think it was the spinach pasta.
---
Teriyaki Chicken Pizza. Love it as the crust was VERY thin and crispy. The only reson I don't eat pizza often is because carbs are EVIL! But this is practically guilt free.
---
---
Salmon Cheese. This was also very good. Came hot and crispy. The cheese inside was all melty and it was stuffed with salmon. The tartar sauce added a kick to it. YUM!
---
Spinach and Bacon Fettucini. This was really good too if u like spinach. The bacon might be a little fatty but then what good is lean bacon? Not too salty which was a plus as cream sauces have the tendency of being over seasoned.
---
Seafood Tomato-based Speghetti . This was quite good too and had quite alot of fresh seafood in it.
Overall, the meal was really satisfying. Would definately be heading back there again. The only thing was that the waitresses seemed to be screwing up everyone's orders, delievering orders to the wrong table .. maybe they were just new...
We then walked around, did a little shopping before heading to Secret Recipie for dessert.

We had Chocolate Banana and Marble Cheesecake. The banana one was ok .. thought the chocolate cake part could be a little more chocolaty. Was expecting more after my sis raved about it and even offered to get it for my bday. The cheesecake was better :) Though the only marbling was on the top. Isn't there supposed to be chocolate parts in the cake itself too? It was still a yummy cake, melted in my mouth.
Group pic for our friend :) that is far far away...
