Elsie wanted someone to go shopping with her for a tube top and some shops on wed and guess who was free on a weekday in the afternoon?

We met early, at 12.30pm so that we can grab lunch. We have not met up since b4 the holidays. She is always busy during that season. We wanted to go for 小笼包 but the queue was too long so we headed to Sushi Tei instead.

This is part of the new seasonal menu. Soft shell crab with fish floss. Not too bad.---
Hairy Crab Miso Soup. I don't like ordering crab outside, esp those that u have to struggle with to get that little bit of meat. It was surprising good, u can taste the sweetness of the crab, but yes, no crab meat whatsoever.

Elsie introduced me to this. Grilled Shrimp with a mayo and fish roe topping. This was the best, but also expensive. It was $15 for both. Great ... eating at Sushi Tei just got more expensive. Luckily they are coming up with a membership card ... guess who already send in her application? :)
We went shopping around after our big meal. Found a top for her but was SOL with her shorts. We then headed to Cedeles at Wheelock for some dessert. Yes, Elsie already warned me, there is no diet when I go out with her.

Here's me with the desserts we ordered. There was the Chocolate Hazelnut cake, Carrot Cake and Lemon Tart. The chocolate one was so so, still preferred their cheesecake, Carrot was good, lemon tart, not too bad. Different from those I have been having at Owen cafe. But at least they were tart and u could bite into tiny strips of lemon zest.
After which, we did more shopping. With all the walking, it made me feel less guilty about all the food we devoured. We finally found her a pair of shorts that we both agreed upon. No horizontal strips across the butt, no huge brown polka dots, and they fit perfect!
YIPPEE!!
It was past 7pm when we finally parted. Tired but with a full belly :)
